A year later after the brutal killing of Alex businessman Mpho Stanley Motsumi in a hail of
bullets from several AK 47s and the police are still clueless and nowhere near to catching the assailants. Motsumi, a founder and co-shareholder of the Alex Mall and then president of the Greater Alexandra Chamber of Commerce (Galxcoc) was killed in the East Bank section of Alexandra on February 28, 2024, when an estimated nine men driving in a Toyota Quantum opened fire and killed him and his unnamed bodyguard.
