FNB personal segment CEO Lytania Johnson says its customers will no longer have to
endure long queues at the Licensing Department each time they have to renew their motor
vehicle disks. The bank now offers this service to its customers in addition to the migration from book IDs to smart cards and renewal and application for passports. All this was revealed at media briefing by Johnson recently. She also said for nearly a decade the bank has been offering its customers smart tools to navigate better decisions about their money and assets while simplifying their lives. Known as the nav Gamification platform, Johnson said the product has since reached a milestone in terms of more than 5-million active users that are currently navigating their journey of goals in life and urged others who are not yet users of the system to go to the FNB App and see what is available and that she and her colleagues were available to personally assist them. “We are quite excited about this milestone and being able to help settle many customers in their homes and also achieve their other goals in life and it all starts with using the right tools to achieve those goals,” Johnson said. Johnson pointed out how difficult it is in South Africa to get a home loan approved but FNB has simplified all this in the App so that customers can be assisted to settle of their new homes, buy that dream car and send their children to those cut-above-the-rest schools and even earn big bucks for their investments. “We are helping many of our customers to bring home the bacon through well-tailored investments options available,” added FNB’s chief imagineer Jolande Duvenage. Johnson said other services offered by the bank included the licence disk renewal for motorists, passports applications and renewals, including the migration from book IDs to smart cards.
