Tickets for the Nedbank Cup final scheduled for the Moses Mabhida Stadium in
Durban on May 10 go up on sale from today [May 5].

This was announced by the Premier Soccer League which said the tickets will be
available from Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite and Checkers
stores from 10h00 today and spectators may also buy the tickets online via
http://www.opentickets.co.za

The league said general access tickets will be priced at R150 each. To ensure fair
access, the league said it has restricted each person to purchase a limited minimum
of four tickets only.

The league said hospitality packages will also be available from May 5. For more
information, members of the public can call 082 805 3150 or email
booking@sail.co.za.

Members of the public are urged by the league to exercise caution and only buy
tickets through official channels. The league warned that tickets purchased from third
parties will be invalid and will not grant anyone access to the stadium.

The league also appealed to all football supporters to cooperate with event
regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable Nedbank Cup final for all.

The final, which makes yet another additional mouthwatering Soweto Derby for the
fans between arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, promises to be yet
another football spectacles as evidenced in the May 3 second round of the Betway

Premiership encounter between the two Soweto giants, which went the way of the
Buccaneers despite AmaKhosi opening the scoring in just two minutes of the game
through a well taken strike from the boot of Democratic Republic of Congo
international Glody Makabi Lilepo.

It would be interesting to see if AmaKhosi, who showed amazing hunger for goals
with its scintillating play in the May 3 derby, will maintain its good run of form in this
cup tournament which saw the now Naturena-based side despatching league
powerhouse Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-finals to book its date with the Bucs.

If Chiefs wins the cup, then it automatically qualifies to play Caf Confederations Cup
football, but supporters of the Mighty Buccaneers are hopeful that Pirates charges
will do a treble over Chiefs this season and retain the Nedbank Cup for a record
three times.

If the Sea Robbers return the trophy but opt to play Caf Champions League football
again next season when it finishes the league as runners up, this will open a
backdoor for Chiefs to return to the Caf Confederations Cup they last won many
decades ago.
