Former Baroka FC midfielder Sydney Malivha has signed for Sekhukhune United in the upcoming Betway Premiership season which begins on August 2 with the MTN 8 competition.
Limpopo born Malivha (24), a defensive midfielder who hails from Nzhelele in a village called Luvhalani, had produced stellar performance with Baroka FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship and comes highly recommended to the ‘Babina Noko’ side that’s fortifying its outfit in preparation for a dream season.
Sekhukhune chairperson Simon Malatjie described the wholesale signing of new players by his side as an endeavour to elevate the team to another level in the coming season.

“We now want to move a notch up in our game and achievements in the league and that can only be realised if we reinforce ourselves and make the team more competitive,” Malatjie said during the recent signing of an extended partnership with Chinese sport apparel company Kelme.
Club fans await the new season with bated breath to see what is in store for the side and whether the new players will deliver the goods that will elevate Babina Noko to another much-awaited level.
