The newly Dip Fitness Club is slowly but surely making waves in the iconic township of Alexandra which is a stone thrown from posh suburb of Sandton.

Founded by Sbusiso ‘Viper’ Radebe and Sbongile ‘Sbosh’ Tshabalala in June this year, which is situated at 61 – 18 th Avenue at KoDlozi’s Carwash, started off with a fun walk on June 16, 2025, where people often gather to simply chill every weekend or to have their cars washed at this carwash run by the Radebe family of Jabu, Dlozi,
and Sbusiso.

Tshabalala and Sbusiso had this crazy idea of wanting to start a fun walk and invite the community of Alexandra to join ‘us and participate in pursuant of a healthy lifestyle. “We then roped in the bikers from The Dip which is a fast-food outlet that uses scooters to deliver the food orders,” Tshabalala said.

The fitness event will now run monthly, and ‘we have since been joined by a group called The Steppers from Phase1 in Alexandra for our next fun walk which will be held on September 6. The August 9 event on Women’s Day was a 12,5km walk and hope to increase the kilometres with the passage of time, Tshabalala added.
