Marumo Gallants has acquired the services of three players to bolster its squad as the Betway Premiership moves into the last lap of the marathon season for 2025/26.

The club said in a statement it had secured the signatures of 21-year-old Ivorian centre-forward Romaric Dognimin Ouattara who joins the Bloemfontein-based side from Algerian club Olympique Akbou.

The club statement described Oattara as a powerful striker standing at 1.90 metres tall and said he brings with him promising attacking potential to the Gallants frontline.

Another acquisition is Emmanuel Lyonze Mwiinde, a Zambian attacker known for leading the line of attack for clubs such as Hatta, Masafi and Al-Salam SC in recent seasons, where he’s said to have contributed goals and assists across competitive leagues.

The third acquisition is South African Msindisi Kunene, a 24-year-old winger the club described as a dynamic wide player with domestic experience. “Kunene arrives ready to add creativity and pace to the Gallants attack,” the statement said.

Kunene has featured in the AmaZulu squad where he is said to have been a squad member in the recent seasons.

“The club welcomes the three acquisitions and look forward to intergrating them into the first team,” the statement added.

Marumo Gallants also announced two player departures in Daniel Msendami and Mpho Tshabatsane, and said they wished them all the best in their future career endeavours.
