LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 has set not one, but two new records, becoming the highest attended event for LIV Golf and for professional golf in Australia.

South Australia Premier Peter Malinauskas and LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil announced the record-breaking four-day attendance of over 115,000 today during the fourth and final round of play.

As part of the highest attended golf event in Australian history, Saturday welcomed 38,500 patrons, the highest-single day figure in LIV Golf history.

As the competition for both the individual and team victories heated up on-course, fans from across the country have taken to The Grange Golf Club in force to enjoy the world’s golf league.

The attendance number is the latest success of LIV Golf Adelaide, which has continued to be the league’s flagship event across four years, continuously raising the bar for how global sport, entertainment and culture unite.

It is also the result of the league’s successful partnership with The Grange Golf Club which has hosted the event since its inception. Nearly 400,000 fans have walked through the gates during the event’s history at The Grange Golf Club, helping create a world-renowned legacy for the league and for South Australia.

“This attendance sets a new record that everyone in South Australia and sports fans around the country can be very proud of. This a showcase of not just world-class golf, but of South Australia.

“I take the opportunity to thank The Grange Golf Club and all their members. You have been our host and you’ve been very generous ones at that.

“In terms of the partnership with LIV Golf, it goes from strength to strength. We’re exceptionally optimistic about the future and you can see why,” Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas said.

“I want to thank the fans of Australia. There is something really special, almost magical, about the experience when you walk through this course. There is joy and there is respect for the game.

“To the Grange, thank you very much, and to Kooyonga, I love passing the torch to you.

“It’s quite a humbling experience to say yes, we broke the all-time record in the history of Australia and yes this is a place we plan on being forever,” LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil said

LIV Golf Adelaide’s 2026 event attendance figure follows the recent announcement of the event’s 2027 dates, which will take place on March 18 to 21 at Kooyonga Golf Club.

Fans attending this week’s event have early access to specially priced 2027 hospitality and grounds tickets today. Tickets go on sale to the public on February 16 at LIVGolf.com during a seven-day window for what has been voted World’s Best Golf Event three years running by the World Golf Awards.

Adelaide will remain the exclusive home to LIV Golf in Australia through at least 2031, as the world’s first truly global golf league will move to the redeveloped North Adelaide Golf Course in 2028, bringing the action into the heart of the Adelaide CBD for the long term.
